Creed Cologne
The Creed brand looks back on more than 250 years of perfume tradition. James Henry Creed founded the company in 1760 in England / London and then expanded in 1854 to France / Paris. Soon he was the official purveyor to the English Queen Victoria and within a short time he was favored by all the royal families in Europe.
To this day, Creed perfumes embody luxury and quality. The production is still traditional today by very elaborate manual work. For the fragrances, only natural and high quality raw materials are used, so Creed perfumes are located in the higher price segment.
The image could be manifested with every single fragrance of the brand and has reached a status today, so that one can speak of pure luxury, if you hold the Creed Aventus perfume or one of the many other fragrances for ladies and gentlemen of the label in the hands. The adventurous Creed Aventus Perfume is by far the best-known and highest-selling Creed perfume. And one of the brand’s first successful fragrances was Green Irish Tweed, which appeared in 1985.

Creed Aventus
When talking about a Creed perfume, 80% say it is Aventus. Creed Aventus is the brand with the highest sales and best-known fragrance. It has been available since 2010 and was created by Olivier Creed and his son Erwin Creed.
The fragrance impresses in the first 2-3 hours by its freshness and then changes bit by bit into the woody. The durability and the sillage are enormous. The fragrance lasts for 12 hours on the body and is very well perceived by people.
Creed Aventus can be worn on almost any occasion – in the office as well as at leisure, in the club and on the date. In addition, the fragrance can be worn in any season.
Inspired by the moving life of a conqueror from a time long forgotten … a ledge of steel and glass – floating between heaven and earth. With his elbows propped on the railing, he observes the horizon. He – the Conqueror – the epitome of masculinity on the way to the next battle. If I had to decide on a single fragrance that I would have to carry daily and to all activities, Creed Aventus would be in the very narrow selection. Hardly any other scent causes so many compliments from women.
Granted, the scent is very high priced, but it lasts really long on the body (about 12h) and can be used very sparingly. If no other scent works … .Creed Aventus always works.

Creed Green Irish Tweed
The fresh green fragrance of the luxury perfumery Creed appeared in 1985 and was one of the first successful fragrances of the brand. Green Irish Tweed is inspired by the flat country of Ireland and the local tweed fashion. Well-being, nonchalance and classic elegance – these are three characteristics that characterize this successful Creed perfume.
Creed Green Irish Tweed is considered a forerunner of maritime fragrances. Pierre Bourdon used a high dose of hesperidic, floral and fresh dihydromyrcenol, supplemented by ambroxan, as later in “Cool Water”. This creates a green to maritime odor effect that gives rise to ideas of sea breeze.
I would describe the fragrance as masculine, green, fresh / aquatic and infinitely high quality. The connection to Ireland fits perfectly green meadows with trees, and a salty, rough sea breeze comes to mind with the scent. The durability on the skin is about 8 hours. The perception of others is strong, especially in the first 2-3 hours before it minimizes in leisurely steps.
Due to its freshness, Creed Green Irish Tweed is great for spring, summer and autumn. But even on a cold, stormy winter’s day you can hang up the scent calmly. He is easy to carry in the office as well as in his free time. In the club, in the evening or for dinner I would prefer other scents.

Creed Himalaya
This is the name of the highest mountain in the Kingdom of Bhutan – the highest – at least documented – unclimbed mountain on earth. This mountains of Tibet inspired Olivier Creed when he published Creed Himalaya in 2002.
The following quote describes Creed Himalaya so perfectly that I want to reproduce it 1 to 1:
The scent associated with me a tart freshness, like clear cool air on a cool winter day. Blue sky, a snowy mountain, this unique clarity in the air that often only exists in winter. No freshness à la aquatic monotony, as one smells tons of at every corner, but made valued and distinctly tart. Something Barbershop Feeling always resonates and that’s what I like, because it conveys this subtle old-school touch.
The durability on the skin of Creed Himalaya is about 6 hours, the presence (sillage) of the fragrance falls neat, but somehow slightly dimmed.
This creed perfume fits through its fresh and citrus notes particularly well in the spring and summer. Creed Himalaya can be worn very well at work and at leisure. In the club or in the evening, the scent would go down too much due to his restraint.
Creed Himalaya does not look set, does not want to be beautiful, is not appealing but clean, soapy, fresh and luxurious.

The Creed fragrance released in 1995 launches fresh and fruity with the bergamot and mandarin. It actually carries something very clean, pure and clear in itself, which the name and its relation to the idea of a clean and clear mountain stream or lake seems quite justified.
The durability on the skin of Creed Silver Mountain Water is about 6-7 hours. The perception (sillage) of the casual and elegant fragrance is rather reserved after the first 2 hours.
