Spicebomb Cologne Review : Description, Viktor Rolf, Rating

Viktor Rolf

Spicebomb cologne was released in 2012 and follows the feminine fragrance Flowerbomb by Viktor & Rolf. Its name is daring and explosive and yet, it is nothing compared to its scent and its very avant-garde design. This fragrance is a sensual explosion that reveals a mysterious, charismatic and elegant man. This essence is then accompanied by a very clear slogan: “What if it was the turn of male perfumery codes to be blown up?” With this cologne, the duo of creators Viktor & Rolf did not lack audacity and the olfactory explosion seems to be imminent.

Spicebomb, the men’s version of Flowerbomb

The whole history of this fragrance begins in 2005. Indeed, it is on this date that the famous Flowerbomb was released The latter was then feminine and sensual to excess. Also, his creation did not fail to surprise more than one. The release of this perfume was not classic and quickly gave way to the birth of a myth. Also, the men were quick to claim its equivalence in a more manly version. As the duo Viktor & Rolf explains: “After having created the most explosive feminine fragrance there is, Flowerbomb, we men have experienced a touch of jealousy: why were we not entitled to our own bomb? ” Spicebomb is therefore inspired by a mysterious man and rich in contrasts. He is a charismatic seducer totally freed from conventions. He doesn’t care what anyone will say and lets himself be guided by his impulses and his animal instinct. However, he is no less sophisticated and above all, what it is sexy! If, from the first second it is surprising, the man then becomes completely addictive from the second moment. Its elegance is perfectly inked in its time. The Spicebomb man has everything to please: he is intelligent and sensitive while being strong and virile.

Spicebomb Cologne Review
description

Viktor & Rolf and their spicy pomegranate

This fragrance is a real explosion of spices. The least we can say is that Spicebomb does not go unnoticed. Also, its heart of incandescent spices based on chilli and saffron, faces the all-male roundness of leather and tobacco. However, the Spicebomb cologne does not hesitate to further affirm its manhood by embellishing itself with the brute and racy force of the vetiver. In addition, zesty notes of grapefruit and bergamot are also present and bring out a certain freshness. In addition, elemi and pink pepper also blow an icy wind in the heart of Spicebomb. This explosive fragrance is then contained in a very audacious bottle. This one is nothing but a grenade. It is glass with chiseled and regular facets. The dominant colors gray and black are also very masculine. Finally, a small detail that hits home: In order to release the scent of Viktor & Rolf, you will need to prime its pin.

How does it really smell like?

The first few minutes are really explosive, very nice. Gourmet, spicy, sweet. All full steam, full power ahead. It not only tickles your nose, but also activates Pavlov’s salivation. But after about 2 hours, the fragrance slowly goes away – it smells of leather and is still sweet. It becomes a little dull with a slight tendency to musty. After that, you might think you were in a dry cleaner.

Conclusion

Spicebomb cologne by Viktor & Rolf is an interesting and youthful fragrance that stands out from the current “freshness league”. The start is extremely “explosively” – in a nice way. You are almost showered with compliments – that’s how I like it. Although some may find it too sweet. But after not too long, Spicebomb dies down a lot. The longevity is mediocre. But the smell and performance is much better than the similar sweet cologne in Paco Rabanne 1 Million. This definitely also goes for women. And I haven’t discovered people wearing Spicebomb yet, contrast that with the much overused Paco Rabanne 1 Million cologne.
